Out of favour Warriors utility Tuimoala Lolohea is in demand with the Wests Tigers, Newcastle Knights and most recently, North Queensland Cowboys, all making enquiries about signing him mid-season.

Lolohea has recently been granted permission by the New Zealand club to join a rival if he can find a deal and he's not short of suitors.

The Wests Tigers have long been favourites to snare his signature, with the fullback position open at the club for him to make his own. Weighing heavily in their favour is the recent signing of good friend Ben Matulino.

The Tigers are have tabled a formal offer to Lolohea believed to be for two and a half years.

The Newcastle Knights have been scouring the market looking to bolster their squad for next season and see Lolohea as a player of interest. His ability to play in the halves, along with his utility value, would make him a good fit the Knights with their halves far from fixed currently.

The latest team though to make a play for Lolohea though is the North Queensland Cowboys. Believe to have also made a formal offer, the Cowboys could be looking for cover after it was revealed that star halfback Johnathan Thurston will be sidelined for an indefinite period of time with a shoulder injury.

It's expected Lolohea will make a decision about his future this week.
