The Eels' injury list continues to pile up after losing four players during their 30-4 loss to the Knights on Saturday, adding to the club's woeful 2018 season.

Winger Bevan French went off early in the piece with concussion after colliding with Knights fullback Kalyn Ponga and did not return to the game.

Parramatta also lost playmaker Mitchell Moses to a suspected ACL injury in the first half, which reduced their interchange to just two players for the remainder of the contest.

Things went from bad to worse in the second half, after losing lock Peni Terepo to a HIA test at the 65th minute mark.

The Eels were left without a bench with 10 minutes left in the game, after fullback Will Smith hurt his hamstring.

To add to their woes, second-rower Tepai Moeroa was reported for a shoulder charge in the second half.

“Bevan French was gone after three minutes and Mitchell Moses before he went off the field only had one run,” Fox League commentator Braith Anasta said at half time.

“Corey Norman is out as well, so their key playmakers are not there.

“King at dummyhalf had no runs for no metres and Gutherson had no runs for no metres.

“So your key positions in the spine aren’t performing and you have a couple of key players go off the field, so they are under the pump.

“You’ve got to get the ball in your hands and take the game by the scruff of the neck and Gutherson has to learn how to get into the game as a five-eighth.”

It was a disastrous night for the last-placed Eels, and a suspension to Moeroa could make it hard for club to field a side next week.
