The Wests Tigers have had amazing success throughout the junior ranks over the years and produced a plethora of NRL stars, but now the club's Lisa Fiaola Cup is aiming to etch its name in record books.

In the competition's first year in existence, the Tigers are looking to claim the inaugural Lisa Fiaola Cup title and only one team stands in their way, the Canterbury Bulldogs.

On Saturday, the Tigers may enter the clash as underdogs, but they shouldn't be written out and are only 60 minutes away from walking away from the game as winners.

Scraping their way into the finals series, the team is coming off two successive upsets against the Central Coast Roosters and Illawarra Steelers as they look to produce the biggest upset in the competition's short history against the Bulldogs.

Undefeated this season, the Bulldogs have scored a scintillating 480 points in nine games, including prominent victories over their rivals, including 94-0, 60-0, and 58-10 scorelines.

"It's crazy. It's a weird feeling like I'm more excited for the grand final than I think I've ever been for any other grand final," Lisa Fiaola Cup trainer and NRLW star Botille Vette-Welsh told Zero Tackle.

"It's an exciting feeling, and I'm excited that the young girls get to have experienced this young.

"(The girls) are excited to play the Bulldogs. I think they're a great team, they're super talented, they're very strong and very smart footballers, these young girls, but all the pressure's on their end.

"They've gone undefeated, played incredible, but they've got more pressure to keep this up.

"There's seven other clubs with 30 girls in each club so over 200 girls that wise they were here in this moment, so the fact that we're here, we've got to live in it, enjoy it and then make the most of it."
