The 27-year-old Storm forward ruptured his PCL playing for Samoa on Saturday night in the early stages of the Test against Tonga, and will be sidelined for at least eight weeks.
Kasiano is now commencing rehabilitation in a bid to be back by the end of the season.
The prop-forward will join first-choice forwards Jesse Bromwich and Dale Finucane on the sidelines, adding insult to injury to Storm's hellish representative round so far.
Storm Football Director Frank Ponissi said the forward has had a "wretched run of luck of late with injury and suspension".
"It is quite a serious injury, he has ruptured the PCL in his knee which means an eight to ten week lay-off," Ponissi told melbournestorm.com.au.
"He just needs to work hard now to get back for the end of the season and get some games under his belt."
Making matters worse, prop Nelson Asofa-Solomona is yet to return from the United States following the Kiwis match in Denver; leaving Bellamy discontented over the timing of the England-New Zealand Test.
"I don't know what the hell's going on to be quite honest," he said in regard to Asofa-Solomona's whereabouts.
The Storm are set to take on the Roosters on Friday night, in what will prove to be a gruelling arm-wrestle between the two heavyweights.
