Cronulla Sharks forward Jayson Bukuya has signed a two-year contract extension that will see him remain at the club until at least the end of the 2020 season.
Bukuya has played 141 of his 159 games for the Sharks, with a one-year stint in 2014 breaking up his 11-year NRL career.
The 29-year-old won a premiership with the Sharks in 2016, and was thrilled to put pen to paper on an extension.
"I'm pleased for myself and my family, now that there's a bit more security for the next two years," Bukuya told Sharks TV.
"I debuted in 2008, went away in '14 then came back, so the majority of my football has been here at the Sharks, and I'm pleased to stay here and continue my journey."
While the Sharks are yet to officially announce the Josh Morris signing, the Canterbury Bulldogs have confirmed Morris will join Cronulla on a two-year deal.
Morris played 209 games for the Dogs, and will join the Sharks for the 2019 season.
"Josh has been an outstanding servant to the Bulldogs over a ten year career and is a big part of our history during that period," Canterbury's Chief Executive Andrew Hill told bulldogs.com.au.
"The club made him an extremely competitive offer to stay, but he has decided to take up a contract with the Sharks.
"We are disappointed to see him leave but we understand that he has done what he thinks is right at this stage of his career.
"We look forward to seeing him finish this season strongly with the club and leaving with some great memories."
