Canberra Raiders forward Junior Paulo will be in an Eels jersey next season, after reportedly signing a four-year deal with Parramatta.
Fox Sports' James Hooper confirmed the deal on Wednesday, suggesting Paulo would sign with the 0-6 Eels on a four-year deal worth almost $3 million.
The 24-year-old will return to the club he played 53 games from between 2013-16, before leaving for the Raiders 11 rounds into the 2016 campaign.
Paulo's Canberra career has been in the balance since the start of the season after coach Ricky Stuart was unhappy with the shape Paulo returned to the club in after the World Cup.
He's played all six games for the Raiders so far this season, although they Green Machine couldn't do enough to retain his services beyond the 2018 season.
It is believed the Raiders will not grant Paulo and immediate release from his contract, meaning he will join the Eels in 2019.
Paulo has played 42 games for the Raiders since joining the club in the middle of the 2016 season.
