Manly hooker Manase Fainu is now in jail after he was denied bail by a magistrate for his involvement in a brawl on Friday night.

Fainu allegedly stabbed a man with a 10cm bladed knife, and will now remain in jail until his next court appearance.

The 21-year-old turned himself in on Tuesday morning, and was taken to court on Tuesday afternoon.

  1. Guess there hasn’t been any progress from the NRL on player behavior since the Summer from hell last year. Didnt take long for there to be about 4 brawls and a stabbing. Well done Mr Greenberg, Well done.

    Manly are welcome to Luke. St Choke have let a ton of great hookers go including Damien Cook, the idea of them now signing a 50 year old is pathetic.

  10. I feel sorry for Manly supporters & the game in general. This sucks Manly & he looked a terrific player.
    Now the club may have to carry the players contract , as part of the cap.
    Just as St.George & Penrith have done for the past year. Yet you’re one player down.
    These things take forever to sort out.
    Still no one knows what will become of de Belin? What’s happening with May? Will May even face any sort of sentence?
    Another name to add to the list.
    I’m not condoning any sort of bad behaviour or violence. Anyone that does the wrong thing gets what is coming to them.
    It’s still sad for club supporters & sad for the game. I guess these events are just a reflection of what’s happening in society in general.

The game hit rock bottom when john ribot and chris johns and the broncos started super league for sheer greed fact we will take super league to the world ha ha ha what a joke just look at the state of the game today.woman ref, woman linesman, woman on the fox panel, 4 woman and one player on other footy shows it makes me puke this is why the game is a flop get woman out of the game altogether how boring is woman playing nrl it is absurd/boring and i switch off the channel. all our nrl men players have to grin and bare this lunacy put upon them whats next nrl your a flop oh my god peter beattie now exits thank god for that the man is as useless as tits on a bull…
