Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs captain James Graham has said he would be open to moving clubs if salary cap dramas at the club were to force him out.
It's been widely reported that the Bulldogs are over the salary cap in 2018, with the club gambling on a bigger increase to the cap than expected.
Big money signings Kieran Foran and Aaron Woods are now in limbo as the NRL has stated it won't allow them to play for the club until they are salary cap compliant.
This has forced the Bulldogs to start shopping around some of theirย players and captain Graham has been one of the names bandied about.
Speaking on Fox Sports show NRL 360 last night, Graham discussed the idea of him moving on from the club.
"Iโve got a year left at Canterbury and I was hoping to play a few more years yet, and hopefully, all being well, at Canterbury,โ Graham said.
"But Iโm not naive enough to think thatโs a guarantee.
"If it came to a point where thereโs no deal at Canterbury and retire or move somewhere else and continue playing, and I feel if I want to continue playing, then the answer is yes (Iโll move)."
