Melbourne Storm playmaker Ryley Jacks has signed a one-year deal with the Gold Coast Titans for the 2019 season.
The 26-year-old joined the Storm in 2016 from the clubs feeder side the Sunshine Coast Falcons where he made his NRL debut in Round 1 of 2017.
Jacks has managed 25 games for Melbourne in the past two seasons he's been at the club, adding much needed value to the Storm during the Origin periods.
Titans coach Gareth Brennan said he can't wait to work with the talented playmaker.
"Ryley is a Queenslander who is coming home and looking for an opportunity in the NRL," Brennan told the club's website.
"He's been part of a fantastic system down in Melbourne and I'm sure he'll bring with him that professionalism and desire to succeed.
"He adds some much needed depth to our halves and I'm looking forward to him joining the club."
Jacks had 13 appearances for the Storm in 2018 with the club working on halves combinations with the departure of Cooper Cronk.
He looked to have cemented a spot in the starting line up with five tries to his name, two try assists and 100.9 average kicking metres, but the emergence of youngsters Brodie Croft and Jahrome Hughes saw Jacks in and out of the side.
Melbourne Storm Football Director Frank Ponissi said the club is sad to see Jacks go but wish him all the best for his future.
"While we are disappointed to lose Ryley, he has handled his departure with class and professionalism," Ponissi said.
"In his time at Storm Ryley has been the ultimate team person, he has a very strong work ethic and embraced being part of the Club.
"We wish him every success in the future."
