In this week's five players we'd bring back we look at the New Zealand Warriors.

For those who missed last week's intro, these are five former players from the club we'd bring back to improve the current NRL squad.

As mentioned in last week's Sharks article, recently retired players, or those playing in Super League are not considered. Manu, Mannering, Johnson etc will therefore not be considered.

4. Ali Lauiti'iti

This might come as a shock, as there are probably bigger name players who won't make this list, but Ali Lauiti'iti was one of the club's most underrated during its entire history.

Ali was named 2002 Dally M second rower of the year and was one of the club's best players during their Minor Premiership winning and Grand Final season.

Although he played most of his career in England, his 115 NRL games at the Warriors surely left a huge impression.

He would fit straight into the second row and form an incredible partnership with Tohu Harris.

In 2003, he was strangely released by the Warriors, which sparked a reported 14 team chase for the Kiwi second rower. Ultimately he would sign for the Leeds Rhinos.

I bet there are a few Warriors officials who would have liked that choice over again given the success he would continue to enjoy in England.
