With just over a month until the planned resumption of the NRL competition, we continue our look at the five players we'd bring back from a club's history.

When making these decisions, we're not just picking the five best players from the club. We're picking players who would slot into the current squad to help deliver a premiership.

For instance Laurie Dailey and Mal Meninga would be the first two players picked, but the Raiders have a weaponary centre pairing and an Origin level five-eighth, whereas a club legend could replace a rookie winger.

As always, please let us know who you would bring back to take the Raiders that one result further:.

4. Glenn Lazarus

Joining Josh Papalii in the front row is the two time Premiership winner (with the Raiders) and man often referred to as "the brick with eyes". That is one frightening front row pairing.

Truthfully I was shocked to find out Lazarus only played 92 times for Canberra. All my early memories of the monsterous prop are in lime green.

There isn't much I wouldn't give to see Lazarus collide with David Klemmer, Marty Taupau and Payne Haas.

22 caps for the Blues across ARL and Super League and 22 caps for the national side, Lazarus is likely the first prop picked in almost any side he's available for selection.

An incredible stat shows Lazarus scored 11 tries in 162 games outside of his Canberra stint, whilst scoring 10 tries during just 92 games for the Raiders.

No one stops that Papalii, Lazarus combination!
