Former Rooster and Sea Eagle Jackson Hastings has been named the English Super League's Steve Prescott Man of Steel.
The 23-year-old, who spent five years in the NRL, signed with the Salford Red Devils last season after controversially departing Manly amid speculation surrounding his relationships his then-teammates.
Hastings has had a profound impact on Salford in 2019, his first full season in the Super League, leading his club to a grand final appearance after a second-last finish in 2018.
He has parlayed his success with Salford into a contract with Super League powerhouse Wigan from next year.
Hastings has played 35 games in total for the Red Devils, scoring 11 tries.

Maybe Penrith if Jerome Luai doesnโt work well with Cleary. Maybe the Cowboys if there young halves donโt work with Morgan.
manly are the big losers in this story
dce is on more than 1.3 for another 5 years ?? omg, he is only going to get worse with his hissy fits and demands on the club, any player that shows a bit of character and talent at manly will be moved on while dce is in charge.
DCE in fairness absolutely carryโs that Manly team. Yes The turbo brothers and the big forwards also do a good job but he is the heart and soul of that team he plays 200% and is just great for them. Thatโs coming from a Warriors fan
