  1. Canberra deserved to win but I’ve got to give GC a huge rap – 2 years ago they would have been lapped by 40+. If they hang in like they did tonight they’ll win a lot of games.

  2. I agree. GC are on the up.
    Discussion time. 2 ideas (rules changes).
    1. Instead of 20m tap. How about a circle 5m or 10m in the centre of the 20m line. When a kick goes dead or ball caught in goal the player just has to run and put a foot on or in the circle and keep running without pausing or stopping to tap the ball.
    2. Allow forward passes from dummy half. But with conditions. A player may receive a forward pass only if he/she came from behind the play the ball and the pass was from the dummy half who had not left the play the ball area.
