The Roosters smashed souffffffffs big forwards in last years preliminary Final and Melbourne’s giant pack got belted in the Grand Final. Except for the first game in the rain this year the Roosters have out muscled every pack. The Roosters are the defending Premiers and have the best pack in the comp. Forwards win big games and that is why we lead the comp and won last seasons Premiership.

Yes, I agree the Roosters were excellent last year in defeating the Rabbitohs and the Storms massive packs. But you have to realise that its new year and Souths have improved their forward pack with the signings of Ethan Lowe and Liam Knight. Also Junior Tatola has improved out of site this season holding off George Burgess for a starting role and Tom Burgess has improved as well this year as well as our captain Sam Burgess who is killing it on the edge. May i also add Cam Murray to this list and say that he is the future Souths, Nsw and Aus captain. Souths have improved their forward pack out of site this year and with the advantage of Wayne Bennet being the coach they will be ready for any challenge.
