Former Sea Eagles player Isaac John has unloaded on his former club through a series of viscous tweets.

It comes after reports surfaced that Manly coach Trent Barrett will quit the club at the end of the season due to the club's reported poor resources.

John previously played for the Warriors and Panthers, and followed Barrett from Penrith to Manly in 2016.

And John did not hold back on social media on Tuesday night, launching an attack at the hierarchy of the Sea Eagles, including chairman Scott Penn, key official Peter Peters (‘Zorba’) and club legend Bob Fulton (‘Bozo’).

"The success or failure of a team or business starts from top PERIOD," John's first tweet reads.

"Was crazy the difference between Penrith and Manly and how poorly they were run! Always have had class players that were have served as band aids. Where’s the accountability from the owners

."

John went on to target the club's poor culture and overall standards, running through to the lower grades.
