Zero Tackle rewinds to the past as the QLD Maroons get ready to take on the NSW Blues on Thursday evening in the 2024 Under-19s State of Origin match.

Zero Tackleย looks at every player who competed for the Maroons at the U19/20s level and examines which players have gone on to play in the State of Origin arena.

2014 (QLD U20s def by NSW U20s 30-8)

The third edition of the Under 20s State of Origin match saw QLD lose to NSW by 22 points.

Despite the loss, Luke Bateman and John Folau both crossed the line for a try.

Over the following years, Valentine Holmes, Brenko Lee, Anthony Milford, Christian Welch, Cameron Munster, Francis Molo and Joe Ofahengaue would be the only seven players to go on and represent the QLD Maroons in the Origin arena.
