The Penrith Panthers have announced the re-signing of young forward Kaide Ellis on a two-year extension, tying him there until at least the 2020 season.
"I didn't think twice when the opportunity came to re-sign with Panthers," Ellis told penrithpanthers.com.au.
"This is the club that has helped me become the player I am today and a lot of my best mates are here.
"The direction we're heading as a club is really exciting and I just want to be part of it."
The Dubbo native was member of the premiership-winning Panthers NYC side in 2015, as well as their 2017 Intrust Super Premiership NSW winning team.
Finally earning his NRL debut against the Titans in Round 6 this season, the club's executive general Manager Phil Gould was full of praise for the talented youngster.
"Kaide is a talented and dedicated youngster who has successfully progressed through the Panthers development pathways," Gould told penrithpanthers.com.au.
"I'm confident he will enjoy a long career in the NRL and we are grateful to have him at our club."
