Eels face nervous wait ahead of next match

Parramatta Eels forwards Tepai Moeroa and Manu Ma'u could both face suspensions after separate incidents on Ashley Taylor are likely to come under scrutiny by the NRL match review committee.

Both Moeroa and Ma'u had clumsy hits on the Gold Coast Titans halfback Taylor.

Moeroa's could be considered a shoulder charge with the second-rower not using his arms at all during the attempted tackle on Taylor as he kicked the ball.

Ma'u on the other hand was lucky to not concede a penalty on the field with his shot around the neck of Taylor as he once again kicked the ball.

The Eels look likely to also be without a first (or second or third) choice hooker for their next match after Kaysa Pritchard was forced from the field with an ankle injury.

Early reports suggest Pritchard could be sidelined for 2-4 weeks.

Already without Isaac De Gois (concussion) and Cameron King (sternum), the loss of Pritchard would be a big blow.

Eels coach Brad Arthur might be forced to name a makeshift hooker such as Cody Nelson or Jeff Robson for their next match against the Cronulla Sharks.
