The Sydney Roosters have announced that recently-retired halfback Cooper Cronk will become part of the club's coaching staff in 2020.
The two-time premiership winner will take on the part-time role of Specialist Halves Coach.
His coaching role will cover all grades from Harold Matthews to NRL.
Head Coach Trent Robinson was delighted to have Cronk join the coaching staff.
“Cooper’s experience and football nous is unmatched and it’s great to have him on board in this role where he will pass on his knowledge and work on the development of our halves across all grades at the Club,” said Robinson.
Speaking about the position Cronk said: “I have spoken previously about what the Roosters have made possible for me over the last couple of years, and I’m excited to remain involved with the Club in this new role.
“There are some great young kids coming through the ranks at the Roosters and I’m looking forward to working with them,” he added.
Cronk's involvement will commence withe the start of the Roosters' NRL pre-season mid next month.
