Prosecutors have withdrawn the two assault charges against Parramatta Eels star Semi Radradra.
Earlier Radradra had pleaded not guilty to two counts of common assault against his ex-girlfriend Perina Ting in November 2014.
Ms Ting told a court in February this year that Radradra had punched her in the face with the second charge against Radradra relating to an allegation the rugby league player had pushed Ms Ting against a wall and knocked her unconscious on another occasion.
Earlier this morning, Ms Ting was cross-examined before the court adjourned for lunch. The prosecution then dropped the case entirely, meaning Radradra is now free to continue playing for Parramatta for the rest of the season.
Radradra will pursue a career in French rugby beginning next year.
