Canterbury-Bankstown officials will meet with head coach Dean Pay’s management this week to discuss terms for a contract extension.
After signing a two-year deal in 2017, Pay falls out-of-contract at the end of the 2019 NRL season.
It is understood that both Pay and the Bulldogs are keen to continue the partnership beyond 2019, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Canterbury finished in 12th place with eight wins in 2018, regressing from ten wins in 2017.
Pay's Bulldogs will begin their 2019 campaign with an international trip to face the New Zealand Warriors on Saturday 16th March.
