Sam Burgess and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves look set to miss the first week of the finals after the pair were both charged after Thursday night's clash at ANZ Stadium.
Burgess was charged with a Contrary Conduct Grade one for pulling Billy Smith's hair, while Waerea-Hargreaves was hit with a Grade 1 Careless High Tackle charge for a tackle on Liam Knight.
Loading has seen Burgess given 142 points after the 100 base penalty, but could play next weekend if he fights the charge and wins.
If Burgess fights and loses, he'll be handed a one-match ban with 190 points.
For Waerea-Hargreaves, an early plea will see him handed a one-match ban with 155 points, with fight the charge could see him available if he wins, but with 195 if he loses.
The Roosters have finished second and could host the Rabbitohs next weekend in the qualifying final, although they'll host the Raiders if Canberra beats the Warriors on Saturday.
