Canterbury have confirmed the signing of South Sydney winger Braidon Burns to a two-year deal.

Burns' signature is the 10th signing for the Bulldogs ahead of the 2022 season, with a bevy of star names venturing to Belmore next year.

The 25-year-old joins teammate Josh Cook in swapping the Burrow for the Kennel, while the likes of Storm star Josh Addo-Carr, Penrith premiership hero Matt Burton and delisted Dragon Paul Vaughan also head to Canterbury.

Burns brings 40 games of NRL experience to Trent Barrett's aid for next season, having played as a supporting role for the Rabbitohs across the past five seasons.

"There is a genuine feeling here at the Bulldogs that we are putting together a very exciting squad for next season and beyond," Bulldogs CEO Aaron Warburton said on the signing.

"Adding depth in all positions is something that we have worked hard to achieve, and to be able to sign someone of Braidon's ability and strikepower is a major boost for our backline.

"Braidon is a hard worker who wants the chance to succeed, and we are delighted that he has chosen to come to Belmore at a time when he is moving into the best stage of his career."

Burns' addition to the Bulldogs marks the 30th name to be secured to Canterbury's roster for the 2022 season, finalising their squad for next season for the time being.
