The South Sydney Rabbitohs have announced the signing of experienced outside back Bryson Goodwin for the 2020 season.
Goodwin played 225 first grade games during stints with the Rabbitohs, Bulldogs and Sharks before signing with the Warrington Wolves in the English Super League prior to the 2018 season.
"Bryson is one of those players that you know will give 100% effort every time he takes the field," said Rabbitohs General Manager of Football, Shane Richardson on the club website.
"He has given a lot to this Club over the five years he was with us previously, and his form has been excellent over the past two years since he moved to Warrington.
"He will have the opportunity to play his 100th first-grade game for South Sydney when he returns and he will add a lot of experience to our outside backs.
"It will be great to welcome Bryson back for the 2020 season."
While Goodwin had the following to say on his return to Australia and the Rabbitohs.
"I felt that this was a really good opportunity, we put all the pieces together and my family and I felt that this is the right decision and the right time to come home,” Goodwin said.
"(South Sydney) are going really well at the moment and hopefully next year we can do well too.
"I'm really looking forward to (heading back to Souths), but first and foremost I’m really looking forward to finishing this year off strongly at Warrington, hopefully make the Challenge Cup Final and take out the Super League, doing one better in each comp than we did last year."
