The Broncos are set to unveil former Queensland Reds player Izaia Perese for his first NRL game in the club's clash against the Panthers at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night.
Perse will be named on the bench, while Alex Glenn and Matt Gillett will both miss again.
A 22-year old, Perese made the switch to league this year and got the call up for the Broncos after a good string of form in the Intrust Super Cup.
"It is a really well-deserved debut - he has been playing some really good football for Redcliffe, so he will fill that utlity role on the bench," Broncos' coach Anthony Seibold told the club website.
"Izzy can fill any place in the back five.
"As far as tackle breaks go, he leads the stat in the Queensland Cup.
"Adam Mogg who coaches him at Redcliffe says he has really improved.
"He played league as a kid, played Super Rugby for the Queensland Reds and has been learning the game.
"He certainly has some X factor about him."
Perese will take middle forward Rhys Kennedy's spot on the bench, who will return to the Intrust Super Cup.
