The Brisbane Broncos have lost their Round 21 match 28-14 to a rampant Parramatta Eels but more importantly, look to have lost hooker Andrew McCullough for the season.
McCullough suffered what looked to be a serious leg injury after some friendly fire from Broncos forward Adam Blair.
Trainers were quick onto the ground to assist McCullough who was clearly in pain. There were early fears that McCullough might have suffered a broken leg.

Early reports suggest it's more likely an MCL or ACL injury though.
Regardless, the Broncos look likely to finish the 2017 season without one of their inspirationalย hooker.
Video via phone, but MCL/ACL of greatest concern for McCullough. Fracture and PCL less likely but possible #NRLEelsBroncos https://t.co/jIcewcR0Kv
