The Brisbane Broncos will enter the 2017 season missing forward Corey Parker after he retired and with a massive question mark over the future of flyer James Roberts.
The impact of losing Parker is yet to be seen but the Broncos have plenty of talent across the park to hopefully fill the void.
Comparing their Round 1 team from 2016 against a possible line-up come Round 1 in 2017, it's obvious they shouldn't have much trouble hitting the ground running.
The Broncos will start the 2017 season with the same spine as 2016 and that alone should give them a massive boost over other teams.
The only real changes to the lineup will be the insertion of new signing David Mead onto the wing and the replacement of Corey Parker at lock. Adding Mead to the starting side is an easy decision. Replacing Parker might take a bit longer.
There is a few options master coach Wayne Bennett can choose from, with young guns Jai Arrow, Tevita Pangai and Jaydn Su’A all options.
If Bennett wants to opt for some more experience, a move from prop to lock could be on the cards for Josh McGuire.
Regardless of who they finally decide on, the Broncos look strong across the park and should certainly be playing football in September again.
