South Sydney coach Wayne Bennett has admitted he's unsure what decision Greg Inglis will make when he returns to Rabbitohs headquarters on Monday.
Inglis has been struggling with a shoulder injury and is currently on leave from the club, as he weighs up whether or not to return to playing, or call time on his career.
Bennett understands the "signs aren't good" when it comes to Inglis' shoulder problems, although he does hope he's able to return and contribute for the Bunnies in the near future.
"I don't know that, there's no reason why he should or shouldn't [continue playing rugby league], that's up to him to decide, that's what he's away for now, just to get himself out of the bubble that we all live in," Bennett told reporters on Friday.
"I'm not worried about him at all, because he's in good care with good people around him.
"Our club's very supportive of him, so I'd be a lot more worried if we weren't doing what we're doing."
Inglis played in the Bunnies' first two matches of the season, before missing their past two.
