Just a day after losing Kaysa Pritchard for the rest of the year, the Eelsย have been dealt another blow with co-captain Beau Scott to undergo season-ending surgery.

Scott was forced from the field in the second half of the Eels 24-10 win over the Dragons. Scans have since revealed a ruptured bicep and Scott will now undergo season-ending surgery.

Yesterday, the club revealed that hooker Pritchard would also miss the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury in the same game.

The Club would like to provide the following injury update after Saturdayโ€™s win against the Dragons.

Following further assessment to an injury that occurred in the second half, it is confirmed Blue & Gold co-captain Beau Scott has a ruptured bicep.

Beau will require season-ending surgery and at this stage, it is expected that he will be available for pre-season training towards the end of the year.
