The Gold Coast Titans have signed South Sydney Rabbitohs fullback Jesse Arthars.
He played for their feeder club, North Sydney Bears, this year.
This will be the third club the 20-year-old will play for as he was with the Melbourne Storm where he played for their feeder club and was the competition's highest scorer in 2016.
Born in New Zealand, the fullback moved to the Gold Coast with his family at 12 years old.
"It's exciting for me and my family to be coming back home," Arthars told the Titans' website.
"The Gold Coast is home and to be back surrounded by a lot of familiar faces is awesome.
"I spent a lot of time playing Intrust Super Cup this year and I'm looking forward to making that next step.
"It's a really good opportunity for me here and I can't wait to rip in this pre-season."
Titans coach Garth Brennan is excited to see what Arthars can produce at the Titans.
"Jesse is a young player who has been part of two good rugby league systems and I'm looking forward to seeing how he continues to grow as a player," Brennan said.
"Jesse has the ability to play fullback, centre or wing. He will add some depth and versatility to the Titans squad for 2019."
"I'm sure he'll be hungry to perform well with the hope of achieving his goal of making his NRL debut."
