Gold Coast captain Kevin Proctor has received a four-match ban from the NRL Judiciary on Tuesday night.
He was charged for an alleged bite on Cronulla's Shaun Johnson in Saturdayโs clash at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.
The Kiwi international was sent straight to the judiciary for dangerous contact, to which he pleaded not guilty.
He will be available to return in the Titans' Round 19 clash against Manly.
"Kevin Proctor did NOT bite Shaun Johnson, in any way, shape or form!" ๐

donโt think it was a bite at all. Usually biting someone requires you to actually clamp down. This was soccer-esque and looks like Johnson will now be known as that guy who got his mate suspended for 4 weeks purely out of poor gamesmanship.
Johnson would have been the one suspended if proctor had been playing for the storm.
