Despite rumours suggesting Semi Radradra is considering a move back to the NRL and rugby league, the Fijian winger has told the Sydney Morning Herald the sport hasn't crossed his mind since he left it two years ago.
Radradra will line up on the wing for Fiji against the Wallabies in their Rugby World Cup opener on Saturday afternoon, and is looking forward to showcasing his talents on the big stage.
However, when asked about the NRL, Radradra says he doesn't miss the game.
"Not really, not at all," Radradra told the Herald.
"I haven't talked to anyone [about returning to rugby league], I've just told my agent to manage my off-field business. I am just focusing on footy, playing good footy every week. I have to focus on the game [on Saturday] and the rest of the World Cup."
Even before leaving the NRL in 2017, Radradra always had rugby union on his mind, and his recent experiences in France just confirmed his desire to represent Fiji.
"I always wanted to go, it was in the back of my mind when I started playing rugby league. It was in the back of my mind to play for Fiji," he said.
"I went to France and played over there to see a different environment and a different language. Everything has changed and for me and I was fortunate."
Radradra has played in six tests over the past year, scoring three tries. Fiji get their Rugby World Cup campaign underway against Australia on Saturday afternoon.
Radradra is magical band we all would love him to return to rugby league. Unfortunately he is concentrating on his national sport Rugby.
