The Roosters have agreed to a two-year deal with England's all-time leading try scorer Ryan Hall, who will join the club in 2019.

Hall will depart the Super League'sย Leeds Rhinos where he made his debut in 2007. The 30-year old scored 231 tries from 327 games and also won six grand finals with Leeds.

"Ryan has expressed a desire to test himself in the NRL, and we are pleased to have secured his services,"ย Roosters recruitment manager, Adam Hartigan toldย roosters.com.au.

"A natural finisher blessed with size, speed and strength, we believe that Ryan will be a terrific fit within our squad and we look forward to welcoming him to the Club later this year."

During England's recent win over New Zealand in the Denver Test, Hall scored his 35th try for the country while winning his 38th England cap.

"I've had 12 amazing seasons as a Leeds Rhinos player and I'm immensely proud of what we've achieved," Hall toldย BBC.

"Words cannot really do justice to how much representing my hometown club and enjoying so much success has meant to me."
