Westsย Tigers have made a deal with their second-year lock Matt Eisenhuth, signing him on until the end of the 2020 season.
The 25-year-old made his debut last season, and has averaged 120 metres gained and 25 tackles per game in his 22 career matches in the NRL for the Wests Tigers.
Eisenhuth has had a tough journey to get to this point in his NRL career considering his ordeal with a leg tumour, so he will be relieved to finally sign on the dotted line.
"I'm really happy to be able to put pen to paper on this deal," Eisenhuth toldย weststigers.com.au.
"The direction that this club is going in is really exciting, you can see from the start of the year the culture that we've created and the way we're playing our footy is exciting and I'm loving being a part of that."
Wests Tigers coach Ivan Cleary knows how prominent Eisenhuth will be to his team in the coming seasons and says he looks forward to seeing his development.
"Since making his debut last year Matt has become a key member of our team," Cleary toldย weststigers.com.au.
"I look forward to continuing to work closely with him as he develops both on and off the field."
