Johnathan Thurston will have surgery on his shoulder after reaggravating the injury during Queensland's 18-16 win over New South Wales in Game 2.
The surgery will mean Thurston will miss Game 3 of the Origin series, ย the rest of the NRL season and even the 2017 World Cup.
