Injuries to key positions could see the Penrith Panthersย field a new-look lineup with a star reportedly set to return from injury.

Bryce Cartwright and Peter Wallace are both facing long stints on the sidelines. With Mitch Rein signed in the offseason and by all reports excelling in NSW Cup, it seems likely that he'll replace Wallace at hooker.

The replacement Cartwright though might be a bit more intriguing. Many thought it would be a simple decision for coach Anthony Griffin to name Te Maire Martin back in the No. 6 jersey but reports from the Panthers training today suggest that won't be the case.

It's been rumoured for a long time but Matt Moylan might finally be making the shift from fullback to five-eighth. Moylan has yet to play five-eighth at clubย level but sensationally was named to start for NSW at five-eighth in Game 3ย last year. NSW went on to beat Queensland 18-14.

If Moylan is named at five-eighth, it's expected that Dylan Edwards will get the nod at fullback.

While the Panthers may have lost some talent to injury, they may also be about to get some back with superstar winger Josh Mansour also apparently ready to return.

Mansourย suffered a devastating knee injury after a collision with teammate Josh Dugan while in England for the Four Nationsย at the end of last year.

Round 13 teams will be named tomorrow afternoon.
