North Queensland Cowboys
Blockbusting North Queensland Toyota Cowboys forward Jason Taumalolo has won consecutive Paul Bowman Medals after being named the 2017 Cowboy of the Year at the clubโs Presentation Ball.
Taumalolo, 24, won the clubโs highest individual honour ahead of teammate Michael Morgan following another stellar season, where he became the first forward in the NRL to pass 5,000 running metres for the season.
The award has capped an outstanding two years for the young tyro, who was last year jointly named โ alongside Melbourneโs Cooper Cronk โ the best player in the game.
