Arguably the hottest young talent in the game will be lining up for the Knights this weekend as 18-year-old Bradman Best is expected to debut.
Sharing the name of Australia's greatest sportsman, the young Australian schoolboy representative is primed to have a promising career in the NRL.
Having only just turned 18, Newcastle hasn't waited very long to unveil their prize centre as he will start this weekend.
Since already accepting a contract till 2022, the highly-rated NSW and Australian rep will be announced later today for his first game of rugby league.
It appears the Knights have nurtured him for some time now with Best training with the seniors as early as 16.
The explosive young player has a promising future according to Knights assistant coach Rory Kostajasyn talking about not rushing him into first grade but ensuring the transition is smooth.
“We know he’s an enormous talent and a good kid,” he said.
“We just want him to progress at a rate that he’s physically capable of.”
